White Town is a dream for every photographer. This former French colonial neighborhood is also called "The little Paris of India" and is full of colorful buildings, atmospheric Parisienne cafés and chic French restaurants. And with street names such as Rue Romain Rolland, Rue Suffren and Rue La Bourdonnais, it's sometimes hard to believe you're in India.

There are not really big sights to be found in White Town, but it is a wonderful place to wander through, especially in the early morning or late afternoon. Be sure to stop for a coffee or some French delicacies in one of the many cafes and bakeries or for a lunch at the great restaurant of Villa Shanti. And a photo at the famous “instagrammable” yellow wall of Cafe Des Artes should of course not be missed when you are in White Town.
